15 Jan

For my first attempt to write a recipe, I chose how to make ham and cheese rolls. I think this is great for snacks for your little ones or guests.

So let’s begin…

Ingredients:

1 pack American pan

2 packs ham

square cut cheese / cheese slices

cornstarch or any breading mix in the grocery

4 eggs

tempura breading mix

salt and pepper to taste

Yummy in my Tummy: Ristorante Bigoli in Trinoma

6 Dec

Last Tuesday, hubby and I were able to have a date – finally!

We don’t usually go out as a couple anymore because we go out as a family most of the time. I left the little girl with my mom and went to Trinoma to meet hubby. Before watching “Catching Fire,” we had a heavy dinner in Bigoli in Trinoma.

This is not a new restaurant to us and we have eaten here a lot already! There are three branches – Eastwood, Trinoma and SM City Fairview. We always visit the Eastwood branch, though.

We ordered:

Bigoli

  • Italian Chicken with Spaghetti al Pesto ₱190
  • Pepperoni Stromboli ₱130
  • Tour of Italy Sampler Platter ₱180
  • Unlimited drinks ₱25 each

Yummy in my Tummy: Sentosa Garden Banawe QC

10 Oct

Last Sunday night, hubby was craving for dimsums. So after hearing mass and doing some grocery, we went off to Sentosa Banawe to satisfy his craving. Sentosa Singaporean Restaurant (corner of Banawe and Scout Alcaraz) is a place you can’t miss. At first we were put off by the ‘Singaporean’ dish but when we finally checked it out months ago, it may pass as a Chinese restaurant too. Acutally, what made us try this restaurant was the 50% Discount on all dimsums from 2-5PM and 9-11PM.

This Singaporean Restaurant is located at the 2nd floor of Tempura and Dezzato Pan, just at the corner of Scout Alcaraz and Banawe streets.

Bake & Joy Philippines’ Discount Card

6 Mar

On our third visit in Bake & Joy, we made sure to bring the old receipts that we have to claim the discount card they have for their loyal customers.

You may ask, “Why get the discount card when there is this constant 20% off from 8pm onwards?”

Let me tell you why:

1. The discount is valid ANY time. You don’t have to wait until 8pm to get your cravings satisfied.

2. The 20% off discount is ONLY for the breads they have. With the discount card, you have access to ANY of their products. You get 10% off on the beverages, cakes and pastries.

3. You can use this along with the 20% off. Let’s say you availed of the 20% off discount for the breads, but want to try out their cake and milk tea. You get 10% off on the latter. It can’t be used together, though (NO NO: 20% + 10% = 30% off on breads).

4. The card is valid for 6months upon application! WOW! I wish this was longer though, a year perhaps?

5. The card is valid for dine-in and take out.

6. It is easy to get since all you have to do is collect your receipts that will sum up for 500php and present it within 15 days.

???????????????????????????????

Finally, here is my discount card! 🙂

Of course we dined in again and tasted more of their products. The little girl chose the place and is sneaking in already. She loves classic floss too!

Here we are goofing around with the card.

It is always a happy experience dining here! We’ll be back for more! Especially now we are armed with this discount card.

Yummy in my Tummy: Bake & Joy Philippines

19 Feb

It’s 4:52am and I am still wide awake. I tried sleeping but I just can’t so instead of wasting time staring blankly at the ceiling, might as well blog why I can’t have shut eye session with my pillows.

Since hubby and I crave for Classic Floss, we went to our latest discovery – Bake & Joy Philippines. Check them out here.

If you’re near Banawe – QC area, for sure you have tried it already. I, myself, have been obsessed with it ever since I tried it three or four days ago. My taste buds kept on asking for it and I still can imagine its taste, its texture.

We went there around 9pm and we were able to avail of their 20% discount! The discount starts at 8pm onwards. They are open til 11pm so you still have plenty of time to hoard.

It was surprising not to see plenty of people inside. According to my mom and bro(who are more obsessed than I am) this place is usually filled with people, lined up at the cashier, holding boxes of breads. Fortunately for us, seats were empty. As you can see, our daughter saved a seat already. There’s her hand in the picture.

IMG_0551The place is a cozy spot for small talks and catch ups with friends, with cool subtle playlist at the background. It’s also a big plus that they offer milk tea, coffee, fraps, bread. This is the newest jack-of-all-trades hangout for friends since they cater to various taste buds!

From the outside, it isn’t very enticing. But don’t be deceived! If you check it out inside, you’ll feel like you’re in a coffee/bake shop.

There’s hubby in the picture checking out what’s left.

IMG_0549Here’s the other side: almost empty trays.

This is what we dined in for. They have mouth watering breads that are uniquely flavored and will leave you wanting more!

Hubby had cappuccino and I had mocha frap. The culprit for my nocturnal mode.

These are the Bake&Joy Team! They aren’t the ones I saw during my first encounter. But I can comment that they are all friendly and accommodating.

I have yet to taste more of their products! I can’t wait for my next visits in this place!

Two thumbs up for you, Bake & Joy Philippines! See you soon!

Yellow Cab Promo

5 Dec

While surfing the net, I saw this ad from Yellow Cab.

FREE-ICECREAM-rev_(2)

As soon as I saw this I showed it to my hubby and persuaded him to ordering pizza and pasta for lunch. The coupon must be printed, presented and surrendered upon purchase. In our case, we gave it to the delivery man.

We were sort of celebrating since we are expecting a very important delivery that same day. So to make this normal day otherwise, we ordered Spaghetti and Meatballs and 2 10-inch pizzas: NY Classic and New York’s Finest.

IMG_0077

I know this is far too plenty for two people (and a baby!)to consume, but we wanted to avail of the free chocolate ice cream. Our total should hit a minimum of 1000php.

In less than 45minutes, we received our orders! Yippee!

Even the little girl was excited! She loves pasta and pizza as much as we do.

Spaghetti and Meatballs
New York’s Finest and NY Classic

To preserve the fresh from the oven look, taste, and feel of these, we helped ourselves and served it.

I love the spaghetti and meatballs for the big (huge!) meatballs that come with it. Chunky tomato sauce filled it too. I love tomatoes and it’s a plus that they are good for the heart. NY Classic is a family favorite. We order this every time we eat at Yellow Cab. Come to think of it, its just plain pepperoni…but when you have a bite of it, you’ll definitely remember its taste. Yummy, cheesy, tomatoey, a bit spicy… yummm! It’s unlike any other pepperoni pizza! New York’s Finest is a great mixture of toppings: Italian sausage, ham, pepperoni, bacon, ground beef, black olives, mushrooms, onions, red & green bell peppers. I love this too because its filled with uber yummy toppings to boot!

And of course, the little big bonus:

303 chocolate ice cream

303 chocolate ice cream

The ice cream sells for 120php/tub. This is the first time we’ve tried this and definitely not the last one. It is a semi-sweet chocolate and tastes like a gelato.

The promo  is valid until December 31, 2012. You still have time to order and get the free ice cream.

We have printed two more copies of the coupon so if there’s another chance that we will dine in Yellow Cab, we are ready to grab this little freebie!
